Jenny Johnson (born June 9, 1982) is an Emmy Award Nominated American producer and television host known for her appearances as cohost for TVDiner and Entertainment Reporter for The Only News at 9 and The Morning Show on New England Cable News. She was recently recognized by Boston Magazine as the next Maria Menounos and The Boston Globe raves "If the likes of Rachel Ray can find fame on the Food Network, can Johnson be far behind?"

Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, Jenny Johnson is the oldest of three – sister, Hillary and brother Zack. Jenny later moved to Marblehead, MA for High School.
Jenny graduated with honors from The University of New Hampshire in 2004, where she studied Communications and Women's Studies. After college, she spent a year in Florence studying Interior Design followed by 6 months volunteering at an orphanage in Cape Town, South Africa.
Right out of college, Jenny was cast in a reality TV show on XY TV. XY TV, a startup television company based in Boston, featured programming for the X and Y generations. The show The Roomies was filmed in East Boston and based off of The Real World.
At the end of the season, Jenny became host, producer, and writer for Secret Lives, also on XY TV. The show featured outrageous personal stories from real people of the X and Y generations.
XY TV was developed by KISS 108 DJ John Garabedian. Jenny was introduced to TVDiner host Billy Costa through John. In 2006, she became assistant producer of TVDiner at NECN. After a year in the position, Jenny was made executive producer of the program where she remains today.
As executive producer, Jenny brings 4 million homes throughout New England an insider's guide to food and dining, producing over 40 hours of original programming a year.
Jenny also co-hosts TVDiner. Her segment Educating Jenny puts her in the kitchen with acclaimed chiefs to learn new skills, while Jenny Cam takes her around New England to showcase notable restaurants and events.
In addition to TVDiner, Jenny anchors various segments for NECN. Thursdays on The Morning Show Jenny hosts the Daily Candy segment, where she shares up and coming events and deals with New Englanders. NECN's News At 9 features Jenny's segment What's Going On, on Wednesday nights, where she details the latest entertainment news and gossip from the east to the west coast.
Jenny is the host of New England's Comcast Newsmakers since June 2010. The wide range of interviewees include local, state, and national politicians as well as community leaders. The segments air on CNN Headline News at :24 and :54 past the hour. Comcast Newsmakers can be seen in 42 markets across 25 states.
Jenny has participated in the Pan Mass Challenge for three years. PMC supports the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund, where she was an honorary board member in 2010. She regularly hosts events for Daner Farber.
Jenny is an active donator and host for charity events throughout the year and has raised thousands of dollars for local and regional non-profits organizations.
Jenny is a member of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association and Community Servings.
